Funky white wine with clean, light minerals. Honey, crisp and savoury but with bright citrus notes and a smoky flinty finish.
Produced by Ramon Jane Garriga with Anna & Toni Carbò of La Salada in the Alt Penedès region, south west of Barcelona. This wine is made using Parellada & Xarel-lo grapes from old vines, grown on limestone and clay soil at 250m above sea level. The La Salada project is passionate about recovering and protecting the native grapes planted by their grandparents some eighty years ago.
