Elegant and structured red wine with a bold plummy nose and a soft texture.
Made using grapes from a 70 year old plot of Gamay planted on sandy granitic soil. After a 10 day maceration in whole bunches, the grapes were basket pressed very gently for 15 hours into fibreglass. The more structured of his two reds, with savoury notes and a lifted fruit profile.
