Light and juicy red wine produced by Manel & Núria Aviñó of Clos Lentiscus, located in Sant Pere de Ribes of the Penedès region, Barcelona. This wine is made using Carignan grapes planted on clay-calcareous soil, 225m above sea level. Using the biodynamic method of lunar guidance to plant, prune and harvest which is done by hand. Grapes are destemmed and macerated for fifteen days in both foudres and amphorae, fermenting in these vessels with native yeasts and aged for twenty-four months.
